Thomas Maes

Thomas holds a Master's degree in mathematics and attained his PhD-title in 2011.

After his doctoral program, Thomas started his career as a Specialist Infomanagement at ArcelorMittal Ghent. Subsequently, he worked 5 years as assistant CFO at Touring Insurances, the direct insurer within AXA Group Belgium. There, he was responsible for reserving, internal control and different Solvency II related topics.

As from the beginning of 2018, Thomas joined Value Square and is responsible for risk and finance.
